Bernie Sanders Concert in Hamtramck Offers to Register Voters

March 06, 2020, 4:18 PM

Three local bands and one from Canada are hosting a benefit show for the Bernie Sanders campaign at Small’s Bar in Hamtramck on Saturday, just three days before the democratic primary.

In addition to enjoying booze and music, unregistered guests can sign up to vote at tables from state and local campaign representatives.

Canadian darlings Winona Forever are joined by local acts Who Boy, Olive & the Stoned Fruits and Mike Tocco to support the Democratic presidential hopeful.

The $10 event begins at 8 p.m. at 10339 Conant St. Proceeds go to the Sanders 2020 campaign.

Throw back to this beautiful shot of winter filled Downtown Detroit on Woodward Ave with the QLine. Hopefully soon we can enjoy mass transit in the city once again.
