Gallery + Video: Another protest against Whitmer executive orders is staged in Lansing

May 14, 2020, 9:21 AM

A third protest convenes in Lansing today as state residents complain about Gov. Gretchen Whitmer's executive orders. Directions to stay home and the closure of certain non-essential businesses have incensed some, who call the orders unfair and unconstitutional.

At mid-morning, a small crowd had gathered in pouring rain to hear a series of speakers, most of whom went unidentified. Outside of a small skirmish (video below), the event was peaceful.

This gallery will be updated as the event continues. Events started at 9 a.m.
