If you thought the GOP cries of election fraud will end Wednesday with the certification of electoral votes, think again.

Republican State Senatore Majority Leader Mike Shirkey says the Michigan Legislature's review of the presidential election will continue "well into 2021," Craig Mauger of The Detroit News reports.  He says the GOP plans to  examine state laws on photo identification and early processing of ballots.

The top GOP senator lists election oversight as one of his highest priorities for the new year, and indicated he's prepared to issue more subpoenas to get answers.

"Our list of things that we believe require review and oversight continues to grow," Shirkey told the paper. "It's going to consume that committee (the Senate Oversight Committee) and frankly, the Senate, I believe, for a good part of 2021."

His comments come as an audio tape has surfaces of President Donald Trump pressuring the Georgia Secretary of State to flip his state's election.

Republicans haven't shown evidence of widespread voter fraud in Michigan or anywhere else.
