Mayor Michael Taylor: "Time for him to go."

It's easy to find a robust chorus of Democrats who want President Donald Trump gone immediately. Critics on the Republican side are harder to find, but here's one

Sterling Heights Mayor Michael Taylor tells the BBC:

"He presents a clear and present danger to the United States of America, to our democracy, to our nation, to our constitution, to our republic and I think it is time for him to go. I know he leaves in 12 days, but that's too much time in my opinion."

Though a Taylor is a lifelong Republican, his criticism isn't a shock considering he was skepical of Trump before and backed Joe Biden for president.

In March, he tweeted:

"How could I look at those three kids and tell them I'm proud to support Donald Trump? I can't. I won't. I'm voting for @JoeBiden tomorrow and endorsing him for President of the United States. I hope you'll join me."
