A 57-year-old man who went to meet a woman through a dating app was shot and seriously wounded Friday night on Detroit's west side, WDIV reports.
The man went to meet a woman in the 9300 block of Woodside around 9:30 p.m. Instead, he encountered the woman's 18-year-old boyfriend, who tried robbing him at gunpoint. The victim produced a weapon and shoits were traded.
Both men ended up hospitalized in critical condition.
