Carlos Parisi digs into a chicken sandwich at Albasha Subs
For a month, from April 12 to May 12, observers of Ramadan fast during daylight hours as part of the most sacred month in the Muslim faith. After sundown they break the fast with a hearty meal known as iftar.
Carlos Parisi, host of "Detroit Digest," headed the other night to five popular eating spots in Dearborn, including food trucks, where Ramadan observers came to enjoy community, tradition and an occasion for thankfulness. (See the video below)
