Whatever else you can say about the two Detroit men who went on a shopping spree with other peoples' credit, give them this: They were loyal to the hometown auto brands.

WWJ reports on the pair, who allegedly stole the identity of at least 11 people, forged IDs and credit cards and earlier this month lit out for the territories of Washington state, specifically the Seattle metro area:
They purchased a $64,000 Dodge Challenger, a $6,400 gold bracelet, and “various other items from two different shopping malls.”
The suspects were caught when they tried to buy a $51,000 Camaro with a counterfeit ID, but did not pick the car up. The victim received a credit alert, called the dealership and said he did not apply for credit at the shop. The dealership manager then phoned the police.
Detectives watched the suspects as they shopped at two malls in Bellevue, just across the lake from Seattle. They were both arrested in the parking lot of one of the malls.
Inside the car, police found 11 counterfeit IDs, multiple Apple iPhones and watches, and a Costco credit card.
