Rachel Mac of Romeo made it to the final five in NBC’s “The Voice,” but missed the top prize.

Still, the high school sophomore envisions a lot of good coming from her exposure on the popular show.

“I have a lot of big stuff coming,” she said, according to the Detroit Free Press. “I’m a songwriter, so I’ve been working on a lot of songs and I’m definitely using this opportunity to my advantage. And Nick Jonas was a great coach for me both on and off the show, so I think he’ll be helping me to figure out where I go from here. Nothing is official yet, though.”

On Instragram, she praises the winner:

"Cam Anthony. You deserve this, and SO much more. I’ve never met a more perfect soul, and God rewarded you my love."

Thank you to @thevoicewardrobe for making me feel like a goddess every week, and for being some of the kindest people I’ve ever met.

She also told the Oakland Press about the pleasant experience of the competition.

"I'm real happy about the way things ended," she said. "I think all the contestants will agree there was no pressure going into the finale. It was almost like we were putting on our own concert. We weren't fighting to get into the next round. We were as far as we could go."
