Three people and a dog were found dead Saturday in a boat docked at a Harrison Township marina after an early-morning fire was extinguished by firefighters, The Macomb Daily reports.
Authorities were working to identify the victims, all of them adults, the Macomb County Sheriff's Department said.
Autorities were summonded to the Fox Marine on S. River Road shortly after 6 a.m. after neighboring boaters saw the boat on fire, the Macomb Daily reports. The Harrison Township Fire Department was able to board the 38-foot Chris Craft vessel and extinguish the blaze.
The fire is not deemed to be suspicious.
