Detroit's QLine has been closed since March 2020 after Covid started kicking in.
Since then, for nearly 18 months, the system has been undergoing tests and improvements and workers have been undergoing training, says QLine spokesman Dan Lijana. He said riders will find the 3.3 mile-system more reliable than before when it restarts operations the week of Sept. 27. Trains will run in 15-minute intervals.
Lijana talks about the improvements -- including removing cars from the tracks much quicker -- on the "Craig Fahle Show on Deadline Detroit."
