Dan Rebar
Metro Detroiter Dan Rebar, who retired from the U.S. Air Force in the 1990s, headed late last week to Ukraine to help fight Russians.
Rebar, a security guard, planned to join the International Legion of Ukraine, reports WXYZ.
"This is my calling," he tells the station.
"Thank goodness that we're able to see these things and we're made aware of these things because we now have an opportunity to stop it."
