The polls keep suggesting a very tight race. Who really knows in the end?
The final Detroit Free Press poll of likely Michigan voters shows Vice President Kamala Harris with a 3-percentage-point lead over former President Donald Trump -- 48 percent to 45 percent.
The Harris lead is fueled by growing support among women and Black voters but it's still within the survey's plus or minus 4-point margin of error, the Freep reports.
The poll, done by EPIC-MRA of Lansing for the Free Press and its media partners. It also shows Green Party candidate Jill Stein and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the Natural Law Party each got 3 percent of support. Kennedy has dropped out of the race and endorsed Trump, but he remains on the Michigan ballot despite attempts to remove his name.
Independent Cornel West got 1 percent, the Freep reports.
