Update: 12:15 p.m. Wednesday:  Zain Sikander, the CEO of a Michigan health care company and founder of an investment group, says that Bay City man Jayden Scott, seen in a viral video screaming harsh words at anti-ICE protesters in Minneapolis last week, never worked for or had an affiliation with his companies, as he claimed.

Sikander is the CEO of the Michigan-based Harmony Health Care Management. He also lists himself as founder of the Harmony Investment Group, which has no webpage and he has yet to launch.

He tells Deadline Detroit that Scott, an acquaintence of his, created a fake webpage for  Harmony Investment Group and listed himself as CEO and Sikander as chairman.

Days after the video circulated of him yelling at protesters, "We executed one of you yesterday" and calling them "liberal commie motherfuckers,"  Scott posted on Linkedin:

"It is with a sad heart I announce my departure and formal resignation of Harmony Investment Group. With recent developments in America, the board and I have decided, we have different views of the future of America." Sikander says there's no board.

A number of publications, including the Detroit Free Press and Deadline Detroit, published a story reporting that Scott, a CEO of a Troy investment group, had stepped down from his position.

Sikander says he's baffled that the media fell for Scott's deception, and is concerned that his health care company, which assists patients at nursing homes and hospice, might be harmed by Scott's ploy.

"We are more than happy to answer any questions and tackle the fake narrative this individual has created," he said. "I am truly dissapointed how the media handled this."

Scott did not respond to private messages from Deadline Detroit on both Tuesday and Wednesday for comment.

Report From Wednesday

The CEO and founder of a Troy investment firm stepped down after a video circulated showing him screaming last week at anti-ICE protestors in Minneapolis with a megaphone, saying "We executed one of you yesterday" and calling the group "liberal commie motherfuckers," the Detroit Free Press reports.

Jayden Scott of Bay City, head of Harmony Investment Group, a Troy-based private health care investment firm and search fund platform, posted on LinkedIn a couple days ago:

"It is with a sad heart I announce my departure and formal resignation of Harmony Investment Group. With recent developments in America, the board and I have decided, we have different views of the future of America. It was a great run. We built many great things. Mountains were moved. Fortunes were made. Until next time, So long my friends. Thank you for everything."

Scott, holding a rolled-up American flag on a stick and a megaphone, was shouting at the crowd that was protesting the fatal ICE shooting of Renee Nicole Good, 37, on Jan. 7. The FBI is investigating, but unlike other shootings around the country, is refusing to cooperate with local authorities.  (To see video click here)

Scott is seen in the video yelling:

►"The storm is here. When we come...no one can stop what is coming."

►"These people are fucking terrorists."

►"You liberal commie motherfuckers, keep your hands to yourself or you're going to get hurt today."

The company did not immediately respond Tuesday to Deadline Detroit for comment. Scott did not immediately respond to a message to his X account.

Scott reposted a different video below on his X page in which he describes himself: "I HELP FREEDOM FIGHTERS GAIN FINANCIAL FREEDOM -A PATRIOT IN CONTROL."

Here's another video posted on someone's Facebook page.
