Did you say free gas?
As gas prices rise, people are feeling the pinch.
The owner of an Amoco station on Six Mile and Schaefer in northwest Detroit, only identified as "Big Mo," is giving away free gas on Wednesday morning to the first 200 to 250 motorists, Robin Murdoch of Fox 2 reports.
As the pumps opened at 6 a.m., there were already about 100 cars lined up.
"I'm trying to help people, put some smiles on some faces," he tells Fox 2.
Fox 2 reports that Big Moe does the giveaway every year.
