September 27, 2013, 5:27 PM

The Grandmont Rosedale neighborhood on Detroit's west side is next to get some pop-up love.

The Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation is working with support from Revolve Detroit to bring pop-up and permanent business to Grand River between Evergreen and Asbury Park.  "Our goal is to create a lively and attractive shopping district for the benefit of customers and business owners alike," the GRDC website says.

GRDC is renovating space at 19120 Grand River to house the store. Businesses and entrepreneurs looking need to submit proposals by October 7th to be considered for the spot.

This pop-up follows a collection of pop-ups in West Village last year that led to the permanent opening of Detroit Vegan Soul this weekend, the current pop-up hub on the Livernois Avenue of Fashion, as well as a few pop-ups turned permanent businesses on Cass in Midtown and Woodward in downtown Detroit.

Grandmont Rosedale's 2012 pop-up coffee shop Always Brewing Detroit opened permanently earlier this year.
