The new year brings in a new regime in Lansing.
Gov.-elect Gretchen Whitmer has announced who will fill the top posts in her administration. According to Chad Livengood of Crain's Detroit Business, they include:
- Sterling Group executive JoAnne Huls will serve as chief of staff.
- Michigan Public Service Commissioner Rachael Eubanks become state treasurer.
- Mark Burton, Whitmer's longtime political lieutenant, will become chief strategist in the governor's office.
- Michigan Environmental Council President Chris Kolb will be budget director.
