Few fires are as smoky as tire fires, so if you see alarming amounts of it in the eastern sky this morning, be advised it's coming from Windsor, where a tire shop is ablaze.
Windsor media are reporting on the fire at Serbu Tire on Howard Avenue. A CTV reporter tweeted from the scene:

Windsor police are asking residents to stay indoors with windows closed until the fire is under control, the Free Press reports.
