Sterling Heights Police say they shot and wounded a man early Monday morning after he pointed a gun at officers.
The incident took place around 3:30 a.m. in the 40000 block of Bonaparte Avenue when officers responded to a call about a group arguing in the street.
When officers, arrived a man came out of a house and aiming a firearm at them. He was shot multiple times and is hospitalized in critical condition.
Michigan State Police are investigating.
