Tacos are about as plentiful around here as coneys and pizza, which doesn't keep a national player from jumping in anyhow.
Condado Tacos, which expanded to Michigan last August with a Royal Oak spot on South Main Street, now plans a March 12 arrival on Selden Street in the Cass Corridor, Eater Detroit posts. It'll be the 16th location of the build-your-own chain that began in 2014 in Columbus, Ohio, and is in four states.
Diners at Condado can choose from taco shell options ranging from a hard corn shell to a spicy Firecracker hard shell to a soft shell flour tortilla. The choices for filling include tequila lime steak, house-made chorizo, scrambled eggs, barbecue pulled jackfruit, Thai chili tofu and more.
Customers can then add on toppings like jicama-cabbage slaw, pickled red onions and queso. ...
The chain also offers a long list of margaritas sold by-the-glass and in pitchers.
The full bar features mezcal, tequila and beer as well.
