Sen.Mitt Romney of Utah, a Michigan native, is no friend of President Donald Trump's, particularly since he voted to convict Trump at the Senate impeachment trial.
So on Sunday, during the daily press briefing on the coronavirus crisis, Trump said to a reporter: "Romney's in isolation?" "Gee, that's too bad."
Asked if he was being sarcastic, Trump said, "None whatsoever." (See the video below)
Romney decided to self-quarantine after Sen. Rand Paul announced he tested positive for COVID-19.
