Michigan's stay-home order doesn't stop some exotic dancers from working.
A woman named "Brianna," who WWJ describes as being "acquainted with local strippers," tells reporter Vickie Thomas that Detroit-area strippers perform at house parties to earn money during the coronavirus outbreak.
"I don't understand the thinking of if I just make them wash their hands and bring them down, then I'm safe," Brianna said. "It's like you're playing Russian roulette with your life ... and that's what a lot of people are dealing with right now, you know?"
Brianna tells WWJ: "They are having group parties; they are having group parties with more than ten. I saw a party here in the city and it had like maybe 40 people in a room."
Detroit police have reported breaking up at least one party with dancers during the stay-home order. It occurred at a casino in March.
