Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer has reached a new cultural milestone with her very own Detroit rap anthem, titled “Big Gretch.”
Local rapper GMac Cash released the track Saturday after the city christened Whitmer with the affection new nickname. It’s the latest in his recent catalog of quarantine-related songs, including “Coronavirus,” and “Stimulus Check.”
GmacCash gives props to “Big Gretch” for her handling of the ongoing coronavirus crisis:
Big Gretch got ‘em shook now / When it’s all over you invited to the cookout
He also references Whitmer’s beef with President Donald Trump, firing shots at both Trump and the Lansing “Stay Home, Stay Safe” protesters.
