With uncertainy looming because of the coronavirus, Dally in the Alley, a beloved annual outdoor festival in the Cass Corridor, is cancelled.

A Facebook post says:

In the 44 years we’ve been dallying in the alley, nothing has ever stopped the annual neighborhood gathering of food, art, music, and fun. Well, until now. We are sad to announce that this year’s Dally will not take place. After conversations with city officials and amongst ourselves, we’ve made the decision that the health and well-being of our community members are much too important to risk.

What we will focus on instead on September 12, is uplifting and highlighting local businesses and organizations that continue to make the Cass Corridor the special place it is today. We’ll share deals and special promos so that YOU can visit and support those places on Dally day.

A 2020 event poster and T-shirt go on sale soon, with details to be posted here
