The weather gets an upgrade from "miserable" to "dangerous" this weekend.
Temperatures will be in the low 90s, but the humidity will be right up there too, driving heat indices higher. WXYZ warns that Sunday will "feel like" the hottest day of the year so far, with a heat index of 100.
Because no one knows what else to say at this time of year other than, "miserable heat, amirite?" the station offers a helpful tips box: Wear loose clothing, stay indoors or in the shade, blah blah blah. We'd add: Flee to a body of water, submerge yourself and hope for the best.
