Violence overnight around the city of Detroit took two lives in three separate incidents.
WXYZ reports that the incidents -- two on the east side and one on the west -- come "as President Trump considers sending federal agents to multiple cities, including Detroit, to deal with civil unrest."
None of the clashes stemmed from civil unrest, however. One took place in a house, another in a parking lot, and a third in a field.
The violence wasn't confined to the city, either. In Warren, WDIV reports, four people were wounded Wednesday night after a man fired into a crowd at a party. All are expected to recover.
