Michigan Sen. Gary Peters holds onto only a slight lead over Republican businessman John James going into Tuesday's election, a Free Press poll shows.
The Bloomfield Hills Democrat was up five points — 47 percent to 42 percent — with a 4-point margin of error in the survey of 600 likely voters conducted between last Sunday and Wednesday.
The same poll showed Biden leading Trump in the state by just seven — 48 to 41. A Detroit News/WDIV poll released earlier this week had Biden with an 8-point lead.
