Figures from the Department of Health and Human Services reflect county reports of each building with at least two Covid diagnoses from different households linked to apparent exposure on school grounds. "Case counts for school-related outbreaks include those associated with before and after school programs, such as school-sponsored sports," the Lansing agency posts.

These are added Monday:

  • Canton High: 7 staff members and students

  • Earhart Elementary, Detroit: 5 staff members

  • Western International High, Detroit: 2 staff

  • Lakeshore High, St. Clair Shores: 4 staff members and pupils

  • Mound Park Elementary, Warren: 2 staff members

  • Tenniswood Elementary, Clinton Township: 1 pupil, 1 staff member

A separate state grid lists 16 schools in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb with earlier outbreaks during the past 28 days. (See the second table here.)
