The just-released rap video, "Welcome to Detroit," won't get a warm embrace from the Detroit Regional Chamber.
The five-minute-plus performance by Swifty McVay and Aletta Henderson includes gritty shots of the city and tough lyrics:
- "Welcome to the city where we don't play games."
- "Welcome to the city of the late 5-0, it will take three hours to make it to your home."
- "Weclome to the city where we're breaking all the rules, nobody's fucking with us."
