Michigan continues to rank high nationally in Covid cases and deaths.
On Wednesday, it recorded 6,955 new cases and 81 deaths.
For the past seven days, the state ranks third in the nation in deaths, sixth in cases and seventh in the number of Covid patients in ICUs, according to the Michigan Deparment of Health and Human Resources.
There were 579 deaths from Nov. 15-Nov. 21. Currently, 837 adults are hospitalized in intensive care with confirmed or suspected coronavirus,
In all, Michigan has recorded 373,197 cases and 9,405 deaths.
