Two Detroit firefighters have resigned after separate crashes while under the influence of alcohol, Fox 2 reports.
The first firefighter, who was drking at a party in late February, was called on a medical run and ran a fire truck into a parked car. He was suspended during an investigation.
Around a week later, a fire captain crashed a department SUV en route to a call, Fox 2 reports. He was seen in the vehicle dangling over the John C. Lodge Freeway and was arrested and tested for drugs and alcohol at a hospital.
Neither has been charged.
