Pizza Cat Max, whose motto is "keep pizza weird," has opened in Greektown at 407 E. Fort, in a building previously occupied by Ready Player One, an arcade and bar.

The new shop, which also has an outlet in Toledo, has options that include dairy free, vegan, keto and gluten free. One offering is keto chicken crust.

How weird are their pizzas? You be the judge.

Some include pickles, Flamin’ Hot Cheetos and Carolina brisket. Then there's the "Fetaterranean" that's topped with chicken, garlic parmesan sauce, feta and Mediterranean herbs. That doesn't sound so weird, just awesome, as does "Dave's Spicey Reuben," which includes cornred beef and kraut.

The joint also serves steamed bagels with pizza toppings and has a full bar.

The website plays up weird, saying:

In 2017 our founder said, why wait for someone else to embrace a wonderfully wacky diverse pizza menu? Why not take the leap and embrace it myself? That’s exactly what we did. Because weird is an asset. Your ‘weird’ is my local.

Below is the company video.
