Detroit police are hunting for two carjackers who stole an SUV at gunpoint last month at a gas station in the 13400 block of Conant on the city's east side.

Police on Thursday released a seven-second video of two men running up to the car. The video (see below) does not show an image of the 36-year-old male victim or the carjackers driving off.

The incident occurred on Feb. 8 at around 8:45 p.m.

The two-armed suspects approached a victim who was pumping gas into his 2015 GMC Yukon.

After pointing weapons at him, they demanded his vehicle, and then drove off.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information on the suspects should call the Detroit Police Department’s Commercial Auto Theft Unit at 313-596-2555 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
