Update: 10:25 a.m. Thursday -- The Clinton Township woman charged Wednesday with spray-painting a swastika on a Royal synagogue last week had already faced charges of arson at the Church of Scientology in Farmington Hills, the Oakland Press reports. That case is pending in Oakland County Circuit Court.
The publication reports that Randi Lucille Nord returned from Serbia two years ago. About two weeks returning to Michigan, she was allegedly involved in the arson.
Nord's parents refuse to let her live with them and she is considered homeless, the Oakland Press reports.
On Wednesday she was charged in connection with spray-painting a swastika and the word "AZOV" on the outside wall of the Woodward Synagogue. Azov is a reference to a right-wing military brigade in Ukraine that has been known to sympathize with neo-Nazis.
"She said she planned to do as many hate crimes as possible and blame them on Azov,” Royal Oak Detective Dan Pelletier testified at her arraignment Wednesday in Royal Oak, the publications reports. Bond was set at $75,000 cash.

A 35-year-old woman was arraigned Wednesday on charges involving spraying a swasitka on the outside wall of a synagogue last week on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak.
Randi Lucille Nord of Clinton Township was arraigned before Magistrate Donald Chisholm in 44th District Court in Royal Oak on charges of ethnic intimidation, a felony, and malicious destruction of a building, a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $75,000, with restrictions including that she have no contact with Rabbi Mendel Polter or his synagogue, the Woodward Shul.
Nord's criminal history includes convictions for assault and battery, fleeing and eluding and operating while intoxicated.
Her next hearing date has yet to be determined.
Nord is aloso suspected of spray painting "AZOV," on the wall, a possible reference to a right wing Ukrainian military brigade known for having neo-Nazi sympathizers.
The Farmington Hills police patrol unit arrested her Monday night without incident and took her into custody,
Meanwhile on Wednesday evening, dozens of people gathered outside the synagogue to show support for the congregation and protest hate and anti-Semitism.
