As the 2024 election nears, and opinions become more heated and pronounced, we can expect more social media postings like this.

Jack White, a Detroit native and rock star, Monday attacked celebrities who were spotted Saturday evening chatting with Donald Trump at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas during the mixed-martial arts event, UFC 290 (Ultimate Fighting Championship). NBC reports those celebrities included chef Guy Fieri, actors Mel Gibson and Mark Wahlberg, podcaster Joe Rogan and Trump friend and former adviser Roger Stone.

White, 48, who graduated from Detroit's Cass Tech High School, posted on Instagram:

Anybody who "normalizes" or treats this disgusting fascist, racist, con man, disgusting piece of shit Trump with any level of respect is ALSO disgusting in my book. That's you Joe Rogan, you Mel Gibson, you Mark Wahlberg, you Guy Fieri. This is a statement from me, not a discussion/debate. -Jack White III
