A new restaurant inspired by the traditional flavors of Mexico City and Oaxaca will open Friday in Midtown Detroit.
"Vincinco" at 4100 3rd Street has, according to its website, "a simple yet innovative approach to traditional dishes hailing from Mexico, inspired by the complex gastronomic identity of Mexico City."
Dishes include: a tostada with tuna, chipotle aioli, leeks, avocado; sope with beans, pork belly, salsa verde, queso fresco; enchiladas with duck confit, salsa verde, quesillo; half-chicken, red snapper and a bone-in ribeye. (See menu)
