November 10, 2013, 7:00 AM

See Hipsters Run

The Mustache Dash, a "5K of revelry in support of movember and men's health," will send 1,000 mustache-clad men and women running about Rivertown. The run itself is sold out, but there's no way you can't make some fun out of grabbing an Atwater beer and watching people run around in a favorite hipster accessory. Grab breakfast at Clique for maximum enjoyment.

The run kicks off Saturday morning.

Whiskey Business And A Wine Stomp

The Royal Oak Farmers Market, which on Friday night hosted Whiskey Business (a sampllng with over 100 options), on Saturday brings Sip Savor Stomp, a wine tasting with just as many drink options -- plus food and music.

Pewabic Pottery Show

Pewabic Pottery's annual holiday show starts this weekend with pieces from over 100 ceramic artists. Pewabic tiles are found all over Detroit's historic buildings, so the east side studio is worth a visit whether you're buying or not.

The show opened this weekend and runs until the end of the year.Sunday hours are noon to 6 p.m.

Watch The Dervishes Whirl

The Whirling Dervishes, a traditional Turkish dance group, will grace Midtown with their hypnotic twirling this weekend. Dervishes practice a historic dance of worship that is both simple and beautiful.

See it in Saturday afternoon.

Bonus: Dr. Dog at the Majestic!
