If homes could talk, Christine Beatty's ex-Rosedale Park home in northwest Detroit would have quite a few tales to tell.
You might recall that Beattywas Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick's lover and chief of staff. She landed smack in the middle of a major text messaging scandal in 2008, resigned, went to jail for 120 days and was ordered to pay $100,000 in restitution. As of last year, she still owed more than $80,000. In 2013, she declared bankruptcy in Georgia, where she now lives.
Now, her former four-bedroom, Rosedale Park home is up for sale, Sarah Cox of Curbed Detroit reports.

Now a home she used to own is being sold off after the bank reclaimed it. The four-bedroom, 2,000 square-foot home looks livable, but could clearly use some updates. Out tipster reminds us that she got help from Kwame and Fifth Third bank to buy the home before the scandals broke. Zillow says the home last sold in 2004 for $255,000. The current ask is $119,000.
