Carjackings and car thefts are a problem in Detroit, and apparently thieves know no bounds.

Steve Neaving of the Motor City Muckraker reports that thieves stole a Detroit ambulance Tuesday night.

But apparently they didn't get too far.

Neavling reports that police tracked the EMS to track the EMS rig as it entered an apartment complex on W. Outer Dr. shortly after 11 p.m.

The rig had been stolen about 20 minutes before. On Tuesday night, police were searching for suspects, Motor City Muckraker reported, adding that incident was first reported by DetroitScanner.
