Moroun Pushes To Replace Windows at Central Train Station

One of the Detroit's biggest eyesores, and a building that has long been a symbol of Detroit's decay, could be getting a major fix-up.

Chamberlain Glass & Metal Inc. of St. Clair is hired by Matty Moroun's family, which owns the Michigan Central Train Station in Corktown, to produce replacement windows for the building, the Free Press reports.

The project needs to address more than 1,000 window openings on 16 stories, John Gallagher writes.  A spokesman declined to give a cost estimate or timetable.
