A Leather Goods Shop Moving To Old Tomboy Market in Midtown

The Cass Corridor's transformation keeps on coming.

Will Leather Goods, an Oregon-based retailer, is opening a store in the former Tomboy Market building on Second Avenue and Alexandrine, around the corner from Shinola, Willys Detroit, RUNdetroit, Fellow Barber and down the street from Mario's restaurant. Steve Neavling posts the news at Motor City Muckraker.

The store sells sells belts, duffel bags, purses, wallets, dog leashes, footwear, key chains and other products. Founder and CEO William Adler was born and raised in Detroit.

Neavling describes the former market as a place that sold affordable products, but "often reeked of rotten meat."
