Will Leather Goods, an Oregon-based retailer, is opening a store in the former Tomboy Market building on Second Avenue and Alexandrine, around the corner from Shinola, Willys Detroit, RUNdetroit, Fellow Barber and down the street from Mario's restaurant. The store sells sells belts, duffel bags, purses, wallets, dog leashes, footwear, key chains and other products. Founder and CEO William Adler was born and raised in Detroit.
Neavling describes the former market as a place that sold affordable products, but "often reeked of rotten meat."
