There's the unimaginable pain of losing a child, but in this case, it's two children.
Mitch Hotts of the Macomb Daily reports that a Macomb Township family lost a son, 17, in a tragic hit-and-run accident over the weekend in Mount Pleasant. It came only three months after they had lost another son in a car crash.
Over the weekend, Ryan Tsatsos, 17, a freshman at Central Michigan University, was killed early Sunday morning, the paper reports.
The paper reports that Tsatsos was walking with friends on a two-lane road with no street lights to his residence hall at Central Michigan when a car hit him and drove off.
“How much more can those parents endure,” said a woman who knows that family but did not want to be named, according to the Macomb Daily.
Three months ago, his brother Darryl Tsatsos, 19, died from injuries sustained in a three-car crash in Macomb Township, the Macomb Daily reports.
The paper reports that Darryl Tsatsos was being pursued by a Macomb County Sheriff’s deputy who tried to pull him over for speeding. The deputies broke off the chase, but he crashed a short time later with two other cars.
