The woman who had a meltdown at the Kroger at Bloomfield Township in June and drop-kicked a birthday cake she was unhappy with, was sentenced Thursday to 300 hours of community service, WXYZ reports.
Tricia Kortes will also pay a $500 fine and see a therapist on a regular basis for her disorderly conduct, WXYZ reports.
"I'm truly embarrassed by my conduct," Kortes said in court, WXYZ reported.
Judge Kim Small called her actions a "temper tantrum" and said, "if I were shopping with a child, I'd be horrified," WXYZ reports.
