Every day in Detroit we see homeless folks walking the streets, sitting on milk crates at freeway exits, asking for money or food.
Some of us give them something. Some of us don't. But few of us ask them questions about their journey to homelessness.
A YouTube user named Jay Lange has produced a four-minute video titled "Interviewing the Homeless of Detroit | Episode 1," in which a man talks about his earnings on the street and other things, including the nicest thing someone has done for him.
Lange explains:
This is the first episode of a new series where I will be interviewing the homeless people of Detroit. Today, we meet Dale, who lives at 8 Mile and Woodward.
