Bitchfest: Rock event by, for, and about women identified folks (a few bands will have some male identified folks, too, and they're just as rad), according to the folks planning the event. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Womens Rock Camp Detroit, a camp for women 18+ to learn the art of rock and roll! Comics Stand Up for Planned Parenthood: In this crazy political era, Planned Parenthood needs all the help it can get. Local comics are helping raise funds at this laughfest at Zeke's Rock And Roll BBQ, 240 W. 9 Mile Road, Ferndale. Show begins at 10 p.m. More info ls here.

Sarah Silverman -- The queen of irreverence performs at 9 p.m. at The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor, 377 Riverside Dr E, Windsor.

North American International Auto Show: The big thing this year at the auto show is autonomous cars. Volkswagen is showing a cool VW bus with autonomous driving features.  It opens at 9 a.m. and runs through 10 p.m., though there's no admittance after 9 p.m. The show continues through Sunday, Jan. 22.  (Adults, $13; seniors and kids 7-12,: $7. 

Black Bottom Block Party Festival:  This event will house several small businesses and is open to customers and investors alike. This event was inspired by the Historical Black Bottom–Paradise Valley neighborhood, with hopes of building awareness of local businesses and artist that are building and shaping culture in their communities. The event includes music, food, wine and performances by people including Alise King, JP ONE, Charlie B. Keyz, One Single Rose, Rodelle Nathan, Verzell and Demetruis R Green. The Detroit Historical Museum, 5401 Woodward Ave., Detroit.  8 p.m. until midnight. For info click here.

Motown & More: Detroit's African American Music History Tour: The Detroit Historical Museum, 5401 Woodward Avenue in Detroit, presents a series of tours focused on the history, experiences and enduring influence of African Americans in Detroit. Jamon Jordan, founder of the Black Scroll Network, is the tour guide for this series. 10-11:30 a.m. More details are here.

The Red Wings: They may not be the hottest team in the NHL, but they're still worth watching. The Wings take on the Penguins at the Joe at 7 p.m.

Polar Beer Club: This is a winter celebration of craft beers at the Royal Oak Farmers Market. It boasts of having more than 100 local and regional craft and imported beers. Vinyas Yoga At MOCAD:  A free one–hour yoga class is for all ages and skill levels.  Bring your own mat. This series of classes will be on Sundays from 6-7 p.m.

Torme Sings Torme:  Steve March Tormé, the eldest son of jazz singer Mel Tormé, accompanied by a ten-piece band,  sings his father’s best-known songs, interspersed with family photos and video clips. His father died in 1999 at age 73. The Berman Center for the Performing Arts at the Jewish Community Center on W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield. 3 p.m.  Learn more here.
