Why should Detroit, Royal Oak, Birmingham, Troy, Wyandotte and Ann Arbor have all the dining promotion fun?
In that spirit, Dearborn joins the lineup of cities with fixed-price restaurant week specials.
MJ Galbraith has details at MetroMode:
The inaugural Dearborn Restaurant Week takes place Feb. 13-19. It's the first of what organizers plan to be a yearly event.
Thirty-two participants, listed here, offer lunch and dinner specials at $10, $20 and $30 for three courses. Some offer two-for-one pricing, says the event site.
Destination choices include Al Ameer, Al-Saha, Shawarma Bash, La Shish, Baba's Grill, Sheeba Restaurant, Edison's, Tria, Zaza's and Big Fish Seafood Bistro.
"Menus will include new dishes that represent the restaurants' style of cooking or a medley of the existing plates," Sam Abbas tells Galbraith. He owns Brome Burger & Shakes and Yogurtopia.
