The Detroit Lions' $100 million worth of upgrades inside Ford Field will include the renovation of the stadium's 129 suites, reports Crain's Detroit Business.
Bill Shea and Kirk Pinho of Crain's Detroit Business report:
Sources said part of the project is retrofitting the suites so that some of them will be capable of combining to create larger suite spaces.
Team President Rod Wood on Tuesday declined to discuss details about the $100 million in upgrades, which he announced in a letter sent to the season ticket holder base earlier this month. A private event for suite holders, some premium seat holders and corporate sponsors is scheduled for Wednesday evening, during which team executives are expected to unveil the plans for "New Ford Field." Wood said he would comment at the event.
