A 25-year-old woman testified in 55th District Court in Ingham County on Friday that former Michigan State University and USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar sexually abused her over a seven-year stretch, starting when she was six, The Detroit News reports.

The case involving the allegations was bound over for trial following Friday's preliminary examination. But more charges could be forthcoming because authorities are probing a growing number of sexual allegations involving young girls over two decades.

Kim Kozlowski reports from Mason on the graphic testimony:

The woman said the incidents began in 1998 during frequent family visits to Nassar’s home in Holt.

At the time, she said, Nassar’s assaults came after he found her during games of hide and seek or while watching television in the basement of his home. The assaults occurred while her older brother also played in the basement. They continued until she was 12, she said.

After Nassar exposed himself to her, he then began masturbating with lotion in front of her, the woman testified. On another occasion, he threw a blanket over her on a couch in the basement and began massaging her feet up against his penis. Then, the woman testified, he began inserting his finger into her vagina underneath the blanket.
