We know you want to check out Detroit's gleaming streetcars, though perhaps after Friday evening's public opening crush of transit buffs, the ultra-curios and Day One selfie-takers.
For whenever you take a first ride up or down Woodward, here are answers to QLine questions:
► Cost? Free this inaugural weekend, starting at 6 p.m. Friday. Then $1.50 for a three-hour unlimited-use pass or $3 a day. Seniors and Medicaid card holders pay 75 cents. Longer passes are $30 for a month and $285 for a year. Group passes are available. Children up to 44 inches tall ride free with an adult.
► Payment methods? Vending machines at stations sell tickets for cash or credit cards. Cash accepted on board. Upcoming app will take e-payments.
► When does it run? 6 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6 a.m.-midnight Friday; 8 a.m.-midnight Saturday; 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday. (Last runs may be later during some special events.).
► How long will riders wait? 8 to 12 minutes at most. the average time of each one-way trip between Grand Boulevard and Larned Street.
► Where are 12 stations? Eight curbside stops in each direction and four center median stations (three at the north end and another at Larned Street).
Stops from south to north: Larned Street, Camus Martius, Grand Circus Park, Foxtown (north of Comerica Park), Sibley Street, Mack Avenue, Canfield Street, Warren Avenue, Amsterdam Street, Amtrak Station, West Grand Boulevard.
► Is there Wi-Fi? Yes, free access on board and at stations.
► Capacity? 125 people on each car.
