GM Considers Scrapping Half-Dozen Passenger Car Models

GM reportedly may dump the Chevrolet Impala.

General Motors isn't afraid to pull the plug on car models. Not long ago it eliminated Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles and Saturns.

Now, the auto giant is evaluating whether to cancel six passenger cars in the coming years, Reuters reports.

Those cars include: Chevrolet Volt hybrid, the Buick LaCrosse, Cadillac CT6, Cadillac XTS, Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Sonic.
