Can you blame the Tigers for trying to deliver some real entertainment after a stinker of a season?
On Sunday, Tigers utility player Andrew Romine will play all nine positions in the regular season finale against the Twins, if Minnesota hasn't already clinched a playoff spot, reports Anthony Fenech of the Detroit Free Press.
Romine would be the fifth major leaguer playing all positions in one game. The last was Shane Halter in 2000 with the Tigers.
Romine, 31, has a .230 batting average. He joined the Tigers in 2014.
